Organizations

Organizations

Listed below are a few of the organizations available to join at St. Margaret Mary Parish.

Promises of God Prayer Group

The Promised of God prayer group comes together in prayer and song to praise, worship and thank God, and to share His Word for the wondrous works of the Lord in our lives. Prayer services are held every Wednesday at 7:30 P.M. in the St. Margaret Mary Church. Life in the Spirit seminars are held periodically for those who desire to be baptized in the Spirit. Please contact Tom Stano at 414-406-8133.

Saint Vincent de Paul Society

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is an international Catholic lay organization that helps those in need or those living in poverty.

Members grow spiritually by offering person-to-person service to those in the community through home visits. Those we visit are given financial help with furniture, food, appliance and utility requests. All are served regardless of religion.

The work of the St. Margaret Parish Conference of St. Vincent de Paul is supported by donations from parishioners. Meetings of members are held twice per month at the parish campus. New members are always welcome as are financial donations to continue the outreach efforts of our members.

For further information or to volunteer with this important ministry, contact Marlene Kollmeyer at 414-628-6791 or marlenekollmeyer@sbcglobal.net.

Knights of Columbus #16710 Heart of Christ

The Knights of Columbus is the world's largest Catholic fraternal service organization whose members put their faith into action to defend, serve, and protect families.

The Knights are an important part of St. Margaret Mary Parish and are here to assist the Parish Council and our Pastor. They meet every 3rd Thursday of the month at 7 pm in the Knights of Columbus room located in the cafeteria (below the gym).

The Knights participate in and promote philanthropic and charitable efforts. If you would like to join our Knights council for a meeting to see what they are about, please contact the current Grand Knight, Tom Burke, tburke1@wi.rr.com, 414-750-4835.
